Children’s Basic Handgun (Ages 4-10)

Children’s Basic Handgun  3 hrs $75

The KIDS FIREARM Course is a class designed to encourage participation in shooting sports with the focus on firearm safety above all else.  Students will study the importance of following firearm safety rules and the application of those rules when a firearm is encountered.  Special attention is given to explain the difference between toy and weapon.  This class outlines appropriate use for firearms and how to report those infractions to parents and or adults.
Student’s review and practice basic marksmanship skills in the classroom and on the range.  The noise and apprehension of the live fire portion of the class can be scary for some students.  Provisions are made to make this transition smooth and exciting.

***Parents we respect the trust that you are placing in us in training your most valued treasure.  We follow very strict safety procedures and precautions and hope you understand why we don’t allow parents to stay for the class.  We have found that the children do not want to pay attention and learn as well when parents are in the room and spend the majority of their time trying to get the parent’s attention.  The children are very different and focused when the parents are not with them and with such an important subject matter, we want to make sure they absorb the information fully and correctly.  We look forward to assisting you with this important training for your child.***
