Intermediate Handgun (Pre-requisites apply)

Class time 3 hrs.  Class cost is $100. PREREQUISITE:  BASIC HANDGUN, HANDGUN CARRY PERMIT, OR PRIVATE LESSON FROM ZIRKOPS TRAINING TO ASSESS YOUR SKILL/SAFETY LEVEL BEFORE ATTENDING ADVANCED TRAINING CLASSES. If you have not attended one of the Pre-Requisite classes in the last 2 years, expect to be contacted about an assessment to determine skill and safety level.  Please understand, we have people that "tell" us they are great at safety and shooting, and then get redirected or re-trained because they are not safe enough to put on the ground beside another person with a loaded weapon.   For EVERYONE'S SAFETY,  we MUST make sure [...]

Jr Basic Handgun  3 hrs $75 The KIDS FIREARM Course is a class designed to encourage participation in shooting sports with the focus on firearm safety above all else.  Family participation is preferred as students study the importance of following firearm safety rules and the application of those rules when a firearm is encountered.  Special attention is given to explain the difference between toy and weapon.  This class outlines appropriate use for firearms and how to report those infractions to parents and or adults. The safety restraint course develops principles of controlling a subject’s balance and leverage through a series of drills put into a flow. We start with wrist control and progress through different branching techniques while practicing controlled mechanics and operator/subject safety during contact. This also meets the new Dallas Law state requirements that started January 1, 2023 for all armed and unarmed Security officers working around alcohol.
